Do you shoot TFCD?
Generally no. Sarah will consider requests submitted personally.
Who will be there at the shoot?
Sarah Campbell, The MUA/ Hair stylist, Fashion stylist, Set assistant and occasionally a set runner.
Will there be any males on set?
Sometimes. If yes, usually only one but occasionally there will be 2 there to assist. All of my staff are highly professional and appreciate what we do as art. We are a team all aiming for the same goal.
What If I have never done a shoot before?
Sarah and her staff will take everyone’s needs into consideration and do all they can to make the experience comfortable and fun. You will be guided as to what is needed of you at all times. If you are not sure about posing we will help with the entire process.
Can I bring a support person with me to the shoot?
You can. But depending on the shoot type we suggest that you don’t. Often bystanders can not visualise what the photographer is aiming for. Sometimes tension can be caused that interferes with the over all feeling of the shoot and this can cause issues for all involved. Sarah is more than happy for support people to come and watch and support you but preferably from a waiting area once shooting commences.
Do I need to have implants or big boobs to pose?
Not always. It really depends on what your shoot is for and what the overall image you are wanting to achieve.
Can I shoot with a friend?
Sure. If you wish to have a shoot done with a friend there is additional charges as we still have to cover Hair, MUA, Stylist and time.
What preparations do I need to do before my shoot?
Aside from keep yourself in good physical condition
Wax 3 days prior to shoot
Moisturise, Moisturise, Moisturise,
Exfoliate and get a good even ‘professional’ spray tan.
Make sure your finger nails and toe nails are manicured. A neutral or French finish is suggested.
Make sure your hair colour, roots etc are done one week prior to shoot.
Drink lots of water, keep yourself hydrated.
Do you provide wardrobe?
We do have a reasonable sized wardrobe that travels with us. And some fabulous Fashion labels that support us. We do suggest you bring a selection of your own garments, especially if you have specific items you would love to be photographed in or would suit the concept. Its a good idea to bring a good selection of shoes as we are limited for how many shoes we can travel with.
Who is your MUA?
Sarah has 17yrs experience as a MUA in a variety media related fields. She prefers to do alot of the work herself if time permits. However if there is limited time and many models Sarah will hire an industry expert in the area she is in at the time. Sarah is always open to working with new MUA please submit your interest via contact us section on this site.
Can I save money on doing my own hair and makeup?
You will not save money doing this unless you are a strong industry professional in this area.
The entire shoot can be ruined by bad makeup application and bad hair.
This would be a waste of everyone's time and money.
What can I expect to happen on the day of the shoot?
You will arrive 15 minutes prior to call time with clean hair and no makeup. Check in with Sarah’s PA & Stylist Chavonne O’Neill.
You will go over the documentation required prior to the shoot.
Next you will need to undress completely and put on a robe. This is so you do not have clothing & underwear lines on your body.
You’re then ready for our MUA/ Hair stylist to get to work.
Once hair and makeup is complete you will be assisted by our stylist to see what outfits work best.
You will then have your shoot with Sarah Campbell.
Keep an open mind and expect the unexpected. a shoot with Sarah Campbell will be like no other you have done before.
What do you mean by the last statement?
During shoots with Sarah, often the shoot style & concept evolve and/or change during the actual shoot.
Sarah is very spontaneous.
She sees beauty in so many things. Many times the question has been asked 'how can that look good'? Then like magic with the backdrop, the model and Sarah's artistic imagination and vision combined you have an incredible set that all amalgamates and becomes a stunning piece of art.
What is the turn around time to get my pictures?
As a rule, 3 weeks. Usually Sarah will edit 3 or 4 favourites immediately to email out to you so you have something to tie you over till all the pictures are complete.
On a tour as busy as the Australian one this is not always possible but she still makes every effort to do this.
Who are some of the publications and clients you work with?
Over the past 10 years I have worked with and provided models for a large variety of film and TV clients & various publications such as FHM, Ralph, Zoo, Fashion Quarterly,Bride & Groom Magazines, Performance Car Mag, Playboy and many more I also have promotions companies and casting agents in Australia, New Zealand, U.S.A and Canada that come to me seeking talent on a daily basis.
